We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Activity Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals. As an Activity Assistant at Rehab at Scottsdale Village Square, you will play a vital role in promoting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and therapeutic activities for residents, including social events, outings, and group activities

• Develop and maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere, fostering a sense of community among residents

• Collaborate with other team members to identify resident needs and preferences, and design activities that cater to these needs

• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed

• Monitor and document resident participation and progress in activities and therapy programs

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all activities and events

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. recreational therapy, nursing, or related field) preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility issues

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying levels of noise and distractions
