Inventory Control Supervisor

Responsibilities Accountable for all aspects of inventory control and supervising one or more Inventory Control Clerks. Research reasons for inventory discrepancies and direct product rotation, outside storage, and quality control. Coordinate all recalls and HCAAP Plan requirements. Implement and maintain inventory control policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy of warehouse inventory. Analyze poor product rotation and maintain the storage locator system; coordinate outside storage movement to inside storage when applicable. Investigate inventory issues such as non-branded quality control complaints, sales/customer product complaints, and reasons for out-of-date product. Authorize all inventory adjustments. Assist in compliance with HACCP and other government policies. Audit receiving and stocking procedures to confirm policy compliance. Develop associates through training on policy & procedures. Create a cohesive organization by keeping lines of communication open. Review daily inventory discrepancy reports. Qualifications Education/Training High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree with a management/marketing background preferred. Related Experience A minimum of three years in inventory control, warehousing, sales, and product knowledge required. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities HACCP compliant training and a strong understanding of inventory control procedures. Understanding of the distribution process, customer billing, and credit process. Basic computer skills, excellent math skills, strong communication and organizational skills. Compensation This role may also receive incentive compensation. The expected base rate for this role is between $71,000 and $100,000, depending on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
