Dental Assistant

Job Description

The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in supporting a single dentist within a general dentistry office. This position involves providing chairside assistance, preparing patients, and managing instruments, ensuring a smooth and efficient dental care experience. The assistant will also handle sterilization, take impressions, and perform intraoral radiographs to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist chairside during procedures
Prepare patients for dental treatments
Perform sterilization of instruments and maintain a clean work environment
Take dental impressions accurately
Manage dental instruments and materials efficiently
Take intraoral radiographs to support diagnostic processes

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in dental assisting
Possession of a Radiology license
Knowledge of patient care and infection control practices
Proficiency in dental radiography and chairside assistance
Familiarity with sterilization techniques
Experience with dental software systems
Strong communication skills
