Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP license for the state of Virginia (or ability to obtain)
• CCC-SLP or CFY status accepted
• Previous experience with school-aged children preferred but not required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students in accordance with their IEPs
• Administer evaluations and assessments, interpreting results to develop effective treatment plans
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with parents and staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and work closely with teachers, special educators, and support staff
• Offer guidance to teachers and families about speech and language development and strategies for classroom success
• Engage in opportunities for professional growth and learning throughout the school year
