Assistant Project Manager

Position Type: Full‑Time Project Value: $130 Million Duration: 30 Months We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join the team delivering a $130 million water treatment plant project in Fayetteville, North Carolina . This isn’t a small job or a short stint—it’s a 30‑month build where you’ll be involved from early execution through final closeout on a major piece of municipal infrastructure that will serve the community for decades. If you’ve got 3–5 years of construction experience , especially in heavy civil, water/wastewater, or industrial work, and you’re ready to take on more responsibility, this is the kind of project that can really move your career forward. What You’ll Actually Be Doing: Helping coordinate day‑to‑day project operations from office to field Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Supporting scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking Working closely with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams Keeping an eye on progress so we stay ahead of schedule and budget issues Supporting quality control, commissioning, and final turnover Helping keep communication tight, organized, and moving What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar 3–5 years of experience in construction (project engineering, field, or project management support) Exposure to heavy civil, water/wastewater, industrial, municipal, or similar work Strong organization and communication skills—you can keep a lot of moving parts straight Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑driven construction environment We want this to be worth your time—financially and professionally.
