A confidential plaintiff-side personal injury litigation practice is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to take ownership of an active caseload in Florida state and federal courts. This is a hands-on role for a trial-ready litigator who wants meaningful responsibility across the full case lifecycle, from filing through verdict.

THE ROLE

- Meet with clients, evaluate claims, and file lawsuits

- Propound and respond to written discovery

- Take and defend fact witness depositions

- Retain appropriate experts and manage expert discovery, including expert depositions

- Prepare for and attend hearings

- Prepare for and attend mediations, negotiations, and settlement conferences

- Prepare cases for trial and try cases to verdict

- Draft and file post-trial motions as needed

- Participate in file audits, litigation attorney meetings, and trial skills trainings

Schedule:

Hybrid, in office 3 days per week

Compensation:

Total compensation up to $250,000, commensurate with experience

REQUIREMENTS

- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

- Active Florida bar license in good standing

- 3 to 8 years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience

- Minimum of 2 jury trials as first chair, with a demonstrated track record of results

- Ability to manage a large, active caseload from filing through verdict

- Strong legal research, writing, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy skills

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

- Experience directing and collaborating with litigation support staff

- Additional first-chair or second-chair trial experience in personal injury matters

- Experience across a mix of personal injury case types (for example, auto injury, premises liability, catastrophic injury, medical malpractice)
