The unit operates within a Trauma II environment, staffed 24 hours a day.
During the day shift, typical staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters.
Night shift staffing ratios may vary.
The unit utilizes an electronic medical record system.
Experience with orthopedics is required.
Candidates with vascular experience will be prioritized.
The ideal candidate is flexible and adaptable.
Typical procedures exclude LVADs, transplants, and pediatric patients under 14 years old.
3 to 6 on-call shifts may be required each month.
