Quality Control Inspector Pay: $16 hr. Job Summary
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and customer specifications. This position performs inspections, testing, and documentation of materials and finished products while identifying defects and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and customer specifications. This position performs inspections, testing, and documentation of materials and finished products while identifying defects and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools and equipment.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Identify, report, and assist in the investigation of product defects and nonconformances.
- Verify that production processes comply with company procedures and customer requirements.
- Review specifications, drawings, and work instructions to ensure product conformity.
- Monitor production operations and recommend corrective actions when quality issues arise.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate quality concerns and findings with production, engineering, and management teams.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous quality control, quality assurance, manufacturing, or inspection experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and rulers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and experience with quality documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds, as required.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience using quality inspection equipment.
- Knowledge of ISO standards or other quality management systems.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Manufacturing experience in automotive, industrial, or production environments.
