The Surgical Center at Columbia Orthopaedic Group is looking for a Business Office Specialist who can jump into the action, pivot when needed, and keep things running smoothly without missing a beat. This is not a “sit quietly and do the same task every day” kind of role. Our team wears many hats, supports one another, and works together to create an excellent experience for both patients and coworkers. One day may focus heavily on insurance verification and authorizations. Another may involve helping patients at the front desk, handling payment posting, assisting with medical records, or tackling billing follow-up. Requirements Enjoys a fast-paced healthcare environment Communicates well with patients, providers, and coworkers Can stay organized while balancing multiple priorities Is willing to jump in and help wherever needed Brings a positive attitude and team-first mindset to work each day Summary Healthcare business office experience is required , and ASC experience is a huge plus. Familiarity with insurance verification, billing workflows, authorizations, and medical records processes will help you hit the ground running.
