Maintenance Worker

Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Maintenance team in San Diego, CA. Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00am to 6:30pm. Overtime may be required depending on business needs. Pay Range: $30 to $32 per hour. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in building and facilities maintenance is desired. Strong working knowledge of various hand and power tools. Prior experience with a Building Automation System is a plus. Ability to read and use operation and service manuals. Strong communication, prioritization and time management skills. High level of attention to detail with the ability to multi task. Availability to work on-call as needed, including after hours and on weekends. Responsibilities Responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on various facilities systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Perform maintenance and repair on furniture systems, small equipment, lighting, plumbing fixtures, minor painting, furniture moves, clean-ups, and thermal comfort calls. Support the lab in repairing and testing general lab equipment when necessary, performing scheduled maintenance, equipment setups, and troubleshooting. Communicate effectively with the lab team to discuss the status of their maintenance needs.
