Warehouse Manager

In this role, you will implement strategies that optimize workflows, mitigate inventory risks, and ensure our fulfillment scales seamlessly alongside our ambitious growth targets. Your assignment The Distribution and Operations Lead is responsible for the effectiveness, efficiency, safety, and cleanliness of warehouse operations and facilities. They are a forward-thinking distribution and logistics expert who ensures warehouse operations are optimized to current benchmark standards. Through their leadership, they will set standards, create plans, and lead projects that their team of order pickers, Hi-Lo drivers, and packagers achieve. Effectively hire, train, onboard, develop, and lead a strong team of warehouse pickers and Hi-Lo drivers. Leverage temporary help as needed to meet golas while managing costs. Assess shipping and receiving needs of each day and strategically allocate the team and other needed resources to maximize efficiency and productivity. Reconcile inventory across the Agility and Epicor systems. Conduct continuous improvement audits and projects to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the warehouse. Participate in setting annual budget and manage to that plan throughout the year through expense review, capital expense management and other spend control methods. Create long term plans and strategies that ensure the company has the equipment and employees to meet current and future needs. Ensure a safe and secure warehouse environment through effective policies and procedures and partnership with OSHA as needed. Monitor work quality and ensure safe use of all warehouse equipment. Create, maintain, and achieve high cleanliness standards for the warehouse. Pick orders and complete other warehouse tasks as needed to support the team and ensure goals are met. Capable of safely and effectively operating a Hi-Lo and other needed warehouse equipment. Ability to see what needs to be done and independent drive to do it. Success criteria Orders shipped within 24 hours based on NN's deliverable cycle. Inventory accuracy maintained above 99%. Safety first/always - creating and maintaining a culture of safety through best practices with no compromise. Quality of shipments audited and tracked for accuracy and safe delivery to their final destination. Continuous improvement training to ensure each operator has the skills necessary to be successful. Hiring and keeping the best employees possible. Ensure the warehouse is as clean and orderly as possible, at all times. Interface with other departments data to deliver organizational goals. Maintain equipment at the highest level. Qualifications 5+ years experience in warehouse leadership. High school diploma or GED.
