3rd Shift Optical Test Technician

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

· Work per standard operating procedures in Testing Optical Fibers

· Document the manufacturing process as required

· Perform basic equipment maintenance & calibration

· Assist recommending solutions to technical problems

· May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment

· Assist engineers as needed

· Cross-training in other areas as needed

Education & Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years experience in manufacturing / lab environment

Previous experience or practice executing delicate tasks with small, fragile parts

· Computer literacy including data entry in Excel

· Ability to see details at close range

· Excellent hand to eye coordination

Safety Requirements
