Our organization is seeking a full-time Radiologist dedicated to providing exceptional care to Veteran patients. The selected candidate may be required to deliver services across various environments, including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and the emergency department. The primary duties and responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to, the following:

• Oversee all facets of medical care, assisting residents and technologists in the imaging, evaluation, and treatment processes for radiology patients.

• Interpret and authorize imaging examinations, review and sign off on the exams conducted by assigned radiology residents, making edits as necessary, all within a timely manner.

• Expected to interpret a majority of studies across several modalities, including nuclear radiology, radiography, CT, and ultrasound.

• Responsible for conducting fluoroscopy examinations such as esophagrams, upper gastrointestinal studies, and barium enemas.

• Coordinate with healthcare providers both within and outside their service line, as well as with other VHA facilities or community providers, as dictated by the veteran's care plan.

• Supervise the administration of iodinated, barium, and gadolinium contrast agents; manage ionizing radiation during fluoroscopic and CT-guided procedures; oversee the use of ionizing materials; and address inquiries regarding MRI safety and the imaging of women of child-bearing age.
