Position Summary The Assistant Branch Manager assists branch management with daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, promoting products and services, increasing branch sales, and managing employees’ daily activities. The role supports coaching and development of staff to improve performance. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Assist the Market Sales Manager/Branch Operations Manager in managing branch operations in compliance with organization and government guidelines. Open and close the branch and perform other security duties; assume full responsibility in the Market Sales Manager’s absence. Manage all levels of branch staff, including recruitment, training, performance management, discipline, and staff meetings. Provide extensive customer service, respond to inquiries and complaints, approve authorized exceptions, and perform account opening and other transactions. Ensure the branch facility’s appearance meets standards. Represent the Bank in the community to position it as a provider of choice. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in a retail branch environment; 1 year of management experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Passion for learning how technology, including AI, can enhance work. Potential Salary $70,000 – $90,000 annually (base wages only, excluding benefits, bonus or incentive pay).
