The product control function provides support to the financial controllers and trading desks to ensure that the P&L, balance sheet, and month end close procedures are done correctly and accurately.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with daily P&L reporting and month-end close processesProvide detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance managementPartner with the business to drive forth and implement robust controls and new business initiativesDrive coordination across various front & back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely mannerServe as an analytical and project support resource for product controlHandle various ad-hoc requests on a daily basisRequired qualifications, skills and capabilities: 5+ years within Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related areaExperience doing P&L and month end close processSolid understanding of financial products would be advantageousStrong analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focusExcellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationshipsPreferred qualifications, skills and capabilities: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related areaPrevious product knowledge and/or prior Business Management or COO experienceHighly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skillsPresent well to senior and global business headsAble to forge strong internal relationships across a broad range of functionsSelf-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence with excellent written and oral communication skillsAble to both define and deliver to conclusion a strategic agenda across multiple groupsStrong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions conciselyPractical fluency with AI-enabled productivity tools to accelerate research, writing, analysis, and stakeholder communicationsStrong judgment in applying AI—knowing when to use AI vs. manual analysis, and validating outputs for accuracy, completeness, tone, and audience fitTo be eligible for this role, you must be authorized to work in the United States.
