Services may include, but are not limited to, purposeful activities or interventions to maximize independence and maintain health of individuals limited by physical injury or illness, cognitive impairment, psychosocial dysfunction, mental illness, developmental or learning disability, or adverse environmental condition. Major Duties and Critical Tasks Assist the occupational therapist with tests, evaluation, and complex treatment procedures Observe, record, and report to the therapist the condition, reactions, and responses related to assigned duties Assist in consulting with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals, as appropriate Assist with the care of the occupational therapy department and equipment Assist the occupational therapist with in‑service programs and other meetings as assigned Education and Experience Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant certification, high‑school diploma or GED, strong interpersonal skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
