Overview Data Analyst, Technology Consulting - Data & Analytics (Data Architecture & Engineering) – Financial Services Office. Role involves understanding business challenges and delivering data architecture and engineering solutions to transform how clients use and manage data. Responsibilities Architect modern data platforms, data products, and data marketplaces to provide end-to-end data solutions that improve the data supply chain, reengineer processes, enhance risk control, and enable information intelligence. Define data and analytic strategies, perform assessments, recommend remediation strategies based on identified gaps, and design/implement future-state data and analytics solutions. Lead and coach diverse teams; manage cross-functional teams to ensure task and timeline accountability. Propose and drive new technologies to improve or replace existing business processes; initiate thought leadership through white papers and proofs of concept. Develop problem-solving strategies using creative methods and influence large teams and functional leaders. Deliver high-quality client services by monitoring progress, maintaining long-term client relationships, and cultivating business development opportunities. Travel to client sites up to 60% domestically/regionally as required. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Analytics or related field with 5 years of progressive work experience; or Master’s degree with 4 years of related experience. 3 years of combined experience in the banking, capital markets, insurance, or wealth and asset management industry. 3 years of experience in one or more of: strategic Data Architecture and Engineering, Cloud Data Modernization, Data Products, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Big Data initiatives, and/or Event-driven Architecture. 3 years of experience in one or more of: traditional data architecture practices (Master Data Management, Operational Data Analytics, Customer Data Hub, Data Warehousing). 3 years of experience with Next-Gen platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, DataBricks) and distributed databases. 3 years of experience architecting and designing large data platforms, data warehouses, streaming applications, data ingestion pipelines, data storage patterns, and data integration pipelines. 3 years of experience in at least one of the following areas: traditional RDBMS, MPP databases, NoSQL, Streaming platforms, DevOps tools, and Data Modeling. Experience with one or more: traditional RDBMS (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL); MPP systems (Redshift, Synapse, Teradata, Vertica, Netezza); NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J, Titan, Elasticsearch); Streaming (Spark, Kafka, Confluent, Storm); DevOps (GitHub, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform); Data Modeling (Data Vault, Star, Snowflake, Canonical).
