Manufacturing TechnicianTru Vue | Faribault, MN 3rd Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM Starting Pay: $22.50/hour + $1.50/hour 3rd Shift PremiumTru Vue, part of Apogee Enterprises, manufactures high quality glass and coating products used in framing, museums, displays, and specialty applications.We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our 3rd shift team. This is a hands on manufacturing role for someone who enjoys working with equipment, troubleshooting problems, using computers, and making sure products meet quality standards.You do not need to know our specific processes on day one. We will train the right person who has strong mechanical or technical skills and a willingness to learn.What You'll DoOperate and monitor manufacturing and coating equipmentAdjust equipment and process settings to keep production running smoothlyPerform quality checks and test materialsTroubleshoot equipment and help identify the cause of production or quality issuesMonitor product quality and help reduce scrap and wasteRecord production, quality, and process information accuratelyFollow safety procedures and written work instructionsPerform routine equipment checks and assist with basic maintenanceWork with Maintenance, Quality, Supervisors, and other technicians to solve problemsParticipate in problem solving and continuous improvement projectsHelp train and support other team membersCross train in different areas of the production processMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who:Has manufacturing, machine operation, maintenance, technical, or industrial experienceEnjoys working with equipment and learning how things workHas good mechanical and troubleshooting skillsIs comfortable using a computer and entering information electronicallyHas strong attention to detail and takes pride in quality workHas basic math skills and can work with measurements and process informationCan follow written instructions, procedures, and safety requirementsWorks well with others and is willing to help support teammatesIs dependable, safety conscious, and willing to learnA technical degree or experience with process control, vacuum systems, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is a plus, but not required.Why Join Tru Vue?$22.50/hour starting pay+$1.50/hour 3rd Shift PremiumFull time, consistent Sunday through Thursday scheduleHands on training and opportunities to learn new skillsOpportunity to develop your technical and troubleshooting abilitiesWork with advanced manufacturing equipment and processesOpportunity to cross train and grow within the operationTeam environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvementWork Environment & Physical RequirementsThis is an active manufacturing environment. You will spend time standing and walking on the production floor and working around operating equipment. The environment can be loud.The position requires frequent use of your hands, standing, walking, reaching, and working around machinery. You may occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
