Software Engineer Java Spring

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We expect formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with 3+ years of applied experience.
• We need hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• We value experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate setting using one or more modern programming languages and database query languages.
• We require experience designing and building microservices with Java, Spring Boot, and other Spring Framework components.
• We look for experience designing and working in cloud environments such as AWS EKS or AWS EC2.
• We require experience designing and developing enterprise applications using RDBMS platforms such as Oracle or Postgres.
• We expect hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools, with the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• We need understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations.
• We require solid familiarity with software development tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Jira.
• We value exposure to agile methodologies and CI/CD tools such as Jules and Maven.
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies is preferred.
• Exposure to cloud technologies is preferred.

• We execute software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting, by applying creative approaches to solve technical issues.
• We create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with the appropriate systems.
• We leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex work, while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
• We apply knowledge of tools within the software development lifecycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value delivered by automation.
• We produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met through software development.
• We gather, analyze, synthesize, and visualize large and diverse data sets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
• We proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use those insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
