Job Summary:

At Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, we are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist OT to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized occupational therapy plans for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including cardiac, orthopedic, renal, and pulmonary conditions

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patients' strengths, weaknesses, and functional abilities

• Develop and implement tailored interventions to improve patients' cognitive, physical, and emotional functioning

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and development of patient-centered treatment plans

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies to promote independence and safety

• Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory guidelines and center policies

Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of New Jersey

• Must have a strong foundation in occupational therapy principles and practices

• Must be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
