Requirements
- Basic life support
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Licensed dental hygienist
- X-ray / Radiography Certification
Licensure: Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Alabama.
Education: Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in dental terminology and experience with digital X-ray systems (sensors) preferred.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, excellent patient interaction skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
Job Description
Clinical Care: Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing, while following strict infection control and sterilization protocols.
Diagnostics: Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, maintain detailed charting using ThriveCloud, and capture high-quality digital radiographs using sensor technology.
Patient Education: Empower patients by providing tailored education on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques.
Collaboration: Assist dentists during exams and treatment planning to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Record Keeping: Ensure all patient records are accurate, detailed, and up-to-date.
