Who You Are We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Account Executive to join our Sales team as we continue to expand in the cybersecurity space. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, but candidates must be located in the assigned territory Central (North Texas/DFW area). As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue through new customer acquisition and expanding existing accounts. You will leverage our comprehensive portfolio, including managed detection and response services, professional services, and risk & compliance solutions, to deliver exceptional value to clients. The ideal candidate is driven, resourceful, and eager to exceed goals! You will possess a strong combination of industry knowledge, experience, and exceptional relationship‑building skills; with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships across multiple verticals. You will manage your territory with autonomy while collaborating closely with internal teams in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Act as a cybersecurity advisor and point of contact for clients and prospects, providing expertise in areas such as endpoint security, network security, security operations, vulnerability management, SIEM, incident response, security assessments and testing, threat intelligence, and more. Drive new business sales while managing the sales process from prospecting to closure, ensuring inclusivity and diversity throughout. Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas while contributing to the accuracy and timeliness of customer, pipeline, and forecast data. Have experience managing and building relationships with resellers and partners from diverse backgrounds to drive business growth. Deliver dynamic and engaging presentations and product demonstrations through various platforms, including MS Teams and in‑person meetings, fostering inclusivity. Execute the full sales process, including pipeline development by identifying and qualifying opportunities within your territory, and negotiating pricing and contractual terms to achieve successful sales closures. Provide excellent service and support to prospects and customers, establishing and nurturing long‑term business relationships. Continuously build, maintain, and expand your knowledge to become an expert on Critical Start's inclusive solutions. Occasionally travel may be required to provide support for marketing activities, events, and customer meetings across different states, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility. Utilize Salesforce or similar tools to track all relevant information related to opportunities and accounts, effectively managing your territory while promoting diversity and inclusivity. What You Will Bring? Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of related outside sales experience Must be physically located in assigned geography: North Texas; DFW area Experience partnering with technology value‑added partner companies or manufacturers Cybersecurity sales experience Channel Sales experience Experience with achieving quota attainment in a remote sales position. Proven excellence in selling IT security solutions to enterprise organizations and running an effective sales process Demonstrated ability to close complex deals involving multiple executive‑level stakeholders and enterprise sales cycles Successful record of prospecting, engaging, penetrating organizations at multiple levels, and acquiring major/enterprise‑level customers, with an existing rolodex of customers and channel relationships within the assigned geography. Previous work experience with sales tools including Salesforce.com, MS Office Suite & Teams, OneDrive, and other CRM/Marketing applications Desired Qualifications Managed Service Sales experience a plus Managed Detection & Response (MDR) experience is preferred What It's Like Working Here Imagine a dynamic, enjoyable, and rewarding work environment. Physical Stationary position for extended periods of time. Constantly operate a computer. Occasionally you may be required to move equipment or other items up to 20 lbs. The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Mental Must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner. Make timely decisions in the context of workflow. Ability to complete tasks and perform in situations requiring speed deadlines, or productivity quota. Ability to work effectively and efficiently in high stress situations. Ability to simultaneously address multiple complex problems. Compensation Base salary range: $125,000 - $150,000 USD . Additional Compensation Performance‑based variable compensation.
