JOB SUMMARY As our Principal People Analytics Specialist, you'll build and lead our People Analytics function - turning workforce data (attrition, cost of workforce, organizational health, and beyond) into signals that shape how Apptronik makes talent and business decisions. You'll set the analytics strategy, own the data governance foundation it runs on, and act as the go-to analytics advisor for senior and executive leadership. This is a builder role; you'll define how the function operates today and where it scales next. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES People Analytics Own the People Analytics strategy and multi-year roadmap Lead advanced statistical and predictive modeling (attrition risk, workforce planning, organizational health forecasting), translating findings into clear, decision-ready narratives for the executive team and board Define and maintain the company's north-star workforce metrics and KPI framework Build and maintain the dashboards, reports, and standardized reporting processes that power People team decision-making Serve as principal analytics advisor to senior/executive leadership on org design, talent strategy, and workforce planning Set technical direction, best practices, and mentorship for People Analytics work Data Governance Define, own, and evolve the enterprise People data governance framework, including data standards, definitions, ownership, and quality SLAs across all people systems Own the data classification and sensitive-data handling strategy for people data, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable regulations Set the long‑term roadmap for people-data architecture, partnering with IT and Data Engineering Partner with IT to manage system security, access controls, and technical data integrations Cross-Functional Collaboration Serve as a trusted thought partner to stakeholders at all levels Stay current with People Analytics trends and make proactive recommendations for continuous improvement Provide analytics support for HR strategic initiatives and projects SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate with senior/executive stakeholders and translate data into business narratives Strong business acumen and consultative approach to partnering with HR and business leaders EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in People Analytics or Workforce Analytics, including direct experience advising senior/executive leadership Master's degree preferred in Data Science, Statistics, I/O Psychology, or related field Proven proficiency in SQL, Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker, and statistical/predictive modeling Experience with Workday reporting and dashboarding PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen Hearing and speech to communicate Technology Control Restrictions: As a person in this position will have access to technical data and/or computer software maintained by the Company, which includes export-controlled technical data and/or computer software, successful applicants must be eligible under U.S. export control regulations to access such information.
