CNC Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Position Highlights Salary - $38 - 42 / hour 4 Direct Reports Position Summary A manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced CNC Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) to oversee machining operations during evening hours. This role is responsible for leading a team of CNC operators, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate CNC machining operations during the second shift Plan, prioritize, and schedule work orders to meet production deadlines Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot operational issues Coordinate maintenance and repair activities as needed Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a safety-first culture Maintain product quality through inspection and adherence to quality procedures Train, mentor, and evaluate CNC operators to improve performance and productivity Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges Support CNC setup and operation as needed Maintain accurate production records and reporting documentation Enforce company policies related to safety, quality, and operational efficiency Education High school diploma or equivalent required Technical training or certifications preferred Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in CNC machining within a manufacturing environment Proven experience supervising or leading machining teams Strong knowledge of CNC programming, setup, and machine operation Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality Preferred Qualifications Experience with CNC programming software Background in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing practices Work Environment This role operates in a manufacturing/shop environment and requires standing, walking, and active supervision of production processes.
