Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

Location: Lone Tree, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7A - 7P

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Travel RN specializing in Labor & Delivery. This role involves directing and coordinating all nursing care for labor and delivery patients, postpartum patients, and high-risk antepartum patients. The RN will deliver care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Perform vaginal and c-section deliveries.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and manage fetal scalp electrodes.
• Utilize EMR systems including CPN and Meditech.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provide support and education to patients and families regarding labor and delivery processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery experience.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN or EFM certifications are mandatory.
• Preferred experience in Mom/Baby, Pediatrics, and/or NICU.
