A 4.25 hour Food Service Helper position is anticipated in Nazareth Area School District, with an initial assignment at Nazareth Area Intermediate School . Responsibilities include, but are not limited to serving, dishwashing, assisting in the kitchen, and back-up cashier, as needed.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

1. Familiar with food service activities.

2. Ability to understand basic nutrition, sanitation, and federal regulations.

3. Knowledge of the National School Lunch Program desirable.

4. Ability to work on a team to accomplish a task.

5. Ability to work with students and district employees.

6. Ability to stand, squat, lift 40 lbs., use kitchen equipment.

7. Ability to operate dishwasher.

8. Ability to manage handling/counting of money.

Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the terms and conditions currently in effect between the Nazareth Area School District and the Nazareth Area Educational Support Personnel Association.

Additional paperwork will be required prior to/upon hire , including but not limited to PA School Health Record with TB test, Act 168 for current and previous employers and I-9 form with appropriate work authorization documents and updated clearances current within one year.
