Your Role The Brand Ambassador is responsible for generating sales by providing customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Brand Ambassadors truly act as the face and voice of the company, build brand recognition, and successfully promote our product through engaging customers in meaningful ways to increase brand awareness and generate sales. The Brand Ambassador is expected to role model company values and customer‑first behaviors in all actions and interactions to create a positive experience. Responsibilities Consistently demonstrate the customer‑first selling standards to deliver a positive customer experience and achieve daily sales goals. Leverage company tools and technology to confidently provide the customer with product knowledge that enhances engagement and maximizes sales. Consistently provide support to fellow employees by sharing knowledge, helping complete tasks, and assisting in customer interactions. Outfit customers by suggesting key looks and incorporating the latest trends based on individual style. Promote awareness and growth of the brand by introducing customers to additional brand channels. Perform register sales transactions quickly and accurately in accordance with established cash control procedures and customer service guidelines. Ensure return merchandise is restocked correctly on the sales floor; all damaged and defective merchandise is properly labeled and placed in the appropriate area at the end of each shift. Maintain company brand standards per the 5 S’s (In Size, Styled, Stocked, Standard, Signed). Maintain a neat, clean, and organized sales floor, cash wrap, fitting room, and stockroom to ensure a safe and presentable environment for employees and customers. Execute efficient handling of all merchandise from shipment processing, floor sets, markdown optimization, and replenishment systems while maintaining backroom standard operating procedures. Proactively resolve customer concerns consistently with company policy and customer satisfaction goals; partner with store leadership on elevated issues. Understand and adhere to all company policy and procedures. Qualifications Previous retail experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers, sales leadership, and associates. Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team. Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate. Able to stand and move about for extended periods with short rest breaks; can reach, bend, stoop, etc. to handle products. Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment. Ability to perform all essential job functions. Proficient with technology. Pay/Benefits Information Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location. Subject to eligibility requirements, associates may be eligible to receive paid sick leave and AEO may provide real rewards at its discretion.
