Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and qualifications to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a commitment to safety, compassion, and excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout the labor process.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as needed.
• Assist in the delivery of newborns and ensure proper post-delivery care for mothers and infants.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on prenatal, labor, and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a valid Ohio or compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on Labor and Delivery preferred.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Must be willing to float to multiple locations as needed, including nearby hospitals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Work Schedule

This position requires working night shifts on a 3x12 hour schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
