divh2Additive Technician/h2pAs an Additive Technician at Impulse, youll have the opportunity to drive and optimize production of additively manufactured components. You will work closely with additive engineers to deliver critical propulsion components with maximum efficiency and quality./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliSafely and efficiently operate and maintain several assets, including:/liulliMetal Laser Powder Bed Fusion (M-LPBF) printers/liliMulti-Axis Depowder Machine/liliWire EDM/liliInstron Test Stand (Tensile)/liliSmall-Scale Quality Equipment/li/ulliFull support of additive part post-processing (support removal, grind/polish, surface treatments, clean, etc.)/liliPerform work instructions without deviation and provide feedback to improve the process/liliKeep a clean, organized, and thoroughly maintain workspace/liliDevelop and implement efficiency and/or safety improvement projects/liliMaintain consumable supply inventory/liliPerform verification and validation activities through visual or optical inspection, use small scale quality equipment to take measurements/liliAuthor clear and concise non-conformance reports (issue tickets) to support disposition of deviating hardware/liliMaintain upkeep and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)/li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications/h3ulliHigh school degree or equivalent certificate/lili4+ years working in a production/manufacturing environment/li/ulh3Preferred Skills and Experience/h3ulli4+ years operating and maintaining LPBF printers and EDM/liliDemonstrated basic knowledge of, and experience safely running CNC and/or manual milling machines/liliUse of small-scale quality equipment such as borescope, microscope, profilometer, height gauges, and willingness to learn overtime./liliWilling to work flexible hours to maintain production schedule of multiple printers/liliAbility to operate a forklift/li/ulpAdditional Information:/pulliAbility to wear a full-face respirator for extended periods of time is required/liliMust be able to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted/li/ulpCompensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity.
