Machinist Apprentice at Gear & Spline Manufacturing Facility (Aerospace & Defense)Location: 1515 W 17th St, Tempe, AZ 85281Shift: Full time, day shift. Monday - Thursday (40 hours)Pay: $17-20 per hourREQUIRED: Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.Training: Develop a career path! Paid training will be provided, lots of opportunities for growth & learning!Apprentice Operator must have a desire to learn a technical trade involving the manufacture of high precision gears and splines used in today’s demanding aerospace industry.You will learn blue-print reading, inspection processes, setup and manufacturing methods using some of the newest technology available today in a stable, fast paced, AS9100D Certified business.Requirements:Strong desire to develop a career in high precision gear and spline manufacturingMinimum High School Diploma or trade schoolBasic MathMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds on a regular basisMust be able to stand majority of the shiftGood attitude and must work well with others as a team to perform daily goalsPunctual Attendance with reliable transportationMicrometers and dial-indicators are a plus but not necessary for trainingDue to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.Team oriented company with top paying wages and benefits in the valley in regards to the Aerospace Industry.
