Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) to join a high-volume surgical team. The ideal candidate will have strong acute care OR experience with spine and vascular surgery expertise. This role is responsible for providing safe, patient-centered perioperative care while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure successful surgical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the perioperative process.
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and surgical supplies for procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, surgical preparation, and intraoperative care.
• Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards.
• Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support a collaborative surgical environment.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care OR RN experience.
• Spine and Vascular surgery experience required.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing, sterile technique, patient assessment, and intraoperative patient care.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
