The Excavator Operator will play a key role in various projects including residential and commercial construction, as well as infrastructure developments. Working primarily within small teams of 2-5 workers, the operator is responsible for efficient excavation and equipment handling while adhering strictly to safety guidelines. This position requires a focus on operational precision and routine equipment maintenance without travel obligations.
Responsibilities
- Perform excavation tasks across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects
- Operate excavator and related heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Comply with all site safety guidelines and protocols
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance checks to ensure operational readiness
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy equipment operation
- Excavator experience
- Skidloader experience
- Highlift experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in excavator operation
- Knowledge of site safety procedures
- Experience with equipment maintenance
- Strong communication skills within small team settings
- CDL
