The shipping clerk is responsible for the entire shipping process at ICP Industrial. This includes scheduling LTL TL pickups, customer appointments, dispatch paperwork, package preparation carrier labels, real time communication with production, scheduling, and customer service. This position requires good computer skills, strong problem solving and a high-level of organization. This team coordinates the loading and unloading of trucks all over the USA of our products. It is a great opportunity to fine tune your skills in logistics. Shift hours Monday to Friday (Some Saturdays) 8am to 4:30pm. Hourly pay $20.00 to $22.00, depending on exp./ppKey Responsibilities/pulliSort outbound freight./liliPalletize and shrink wrap freight./liliAdhere address labels to freight./liliAttach SDS to freight./liliVerify Bill of Lading and Packing slip has correct product information./liliSchedule carriers to pick up./liliConfirm appointments at destinations./liliNotify supervisor of any product/label discrepancies./liliCommunicate, coordinate and work with appropriate department heads./liliAbility to communicate with others on a timely basis./liliReceived material in Syspro./liliServices and non-stock materials receiving in Syspro (MROs)/liliDispatching, shipping of small UPS packages, and computer work/li/ulpEducation, Experience and Skills Required/pulliHigh school diploma or GED with some office experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience./liliForklift experience preferred/liliExperience with WMS (warehouse management system)./liliAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion with minimum instructions, adhere to prescribed routines and practices, maintain records, and to make reports requiring accuracy./liliAbility to work well with others, and to assist cooperatively and courteously./liliSkill in the application of modern office techniques and practices and the use and care of office machines and equipment./liliAbility to follow directions./liliAbility to read and understand company policies, standard operating procedures and training materials./liliAbility to be flexible and adaptable and change priorities and direction as needed./liliMust have a positive attitude towards work and have the ability to work as a member of a team./li/ulpOur compensation is more than a paycheck; its an investment in your future.
