Our work will involve overseeing the reconstruction of key educational institutions, all of which were severely impacted by Hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017.We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Project Manager to relocate to either St. Thomas or St. Croix to support the delivery of a multi-billion dollar disaster recovery program. Based at the client site in the US Virgin Islands, you’ll be responsible for managing the project team and the overall project delivery, but also for the management of the project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives. You will manage and provide oversight and facilitate resolution to complex project related challenges. This is a unique opportunity to apply your industry expertise to impactful infrastructure and building projects that support community resilience and growth.As a leading member of our team, you’ll lead and oversee multi-disciplinary design teams—including Architectural, MEP, Structural, and Civil—through all phases of project development. We are looking for a results-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.As the Project Manager, you’ll play an integral role in mentoring staff, forming long-term relationships with clients, and pursuing new work, including strategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts. You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects while adding value to the business by applying proven project management techniques. Here's what you'll need - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering or a related field.- 5-9 years of experience in construction and at least 2 years as a project manager.- Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems/components and technology, team building, and client relationship building.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Self-motivated, initiator, leader; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities.- Demonstrates ability to develop relationships with clients and to win work.Ideally you'll also have: - Master's Degree in Business, Project Management.- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
