Location 5955 W Wells Park Rd, West Jordan, UT, 84081, United States Contact Information Phone View phone number on click.appcast.io Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, skilled Facilities Technician to help maintain our industrial buildings, infrastructure, and surrounding grounds. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and maintaining a safe, functional environment across a large industrial property. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on building systems and infrastructure. Assist with upkeep of the facility’s interior and exterior, including grounds, common areas, and operational spaces. Troubleshoot and repair issues involving mechanical, structural, or general facility components. Support preventative maintenance schedules for equipment, HVAC units, and building systems. Assist with minor construction, remodeling, or improvement projects. Coordinate with outside vendors when specialized work is required. Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all safety standards and procedures. Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be able to perform each essential duty daily. Concrete work Heating and HVAC systems Drywall installation and repair Garage door installation/repair (industrial bay doors ideal) General handyman or maintenance experience Prior facilities maintenance experience preferred (industrial environment a plus). Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed. Willingness to work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions. Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Physical Demands Ability to lift and carry up to 65 lbs. Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and reach for extended periods. Physically fit to work in an industrial environment and tolerate exposure to varying physical conditions. Must be able to work extended hours when necessary. Work Environment Industrial manufacturing environment with heavy machinery, forklifts and overhead cranes. Use of PPE such as gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, and steel‑toed footwear is required. Interaction with team members, leads, and supervisors is frequent and necessary.
