Warehouse Material Handler 1

Position Description Warehouse Associate at Ryder in Port Deposit, Maryland. Pay: hourly $20.00 per hour, paid weekly. Responsibilities Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting. Meet performance measurement guidelines. Accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, load/unload trucks. Handle paperwork: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc. Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred. Valid Forklift Operator's License certified. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse environment. Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels. Highly thorough and dependable. Must be punctual with a good attendance record. Performs work independently with minimal supervision. Possesses a high degree of initiative. Demonstrates high accuracy, even under pressure. Can lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs. Can stand for long periods. Works using health and safety methods. Available to work flexible schedule on various shifts. Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices. Benefits Weekly pay.
