Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments of clients to determine their mental health status and immediate needs, utilizing assessment tools and interviews.

• Develop tailored treatment plans for clients, employing evidence-based practices that address their unique challenges, whether that be substance use, anxiety, depression, or eating disorders.
\n
• Provide ongoing therapy through virtual sessions, ensuring regular follow-ups to track progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
\n
• Equip clients with coping strategies and resources necessary to overcome personal obstacles, enhancing their autonomy and engagement in their healing process.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, when a multidisciplinary approach is warranted, ensuring holistic care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with professional and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a wide range of patients experiencing various mental health issues, including but not limited to, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your ability to empathize and communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds will be crucial in building trust and facilitating their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license in New York as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R .
\n
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing mental health therapy.
\n
• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and associated evidence-based treatments, demonstrating cultural competence in your therapeutic practices.

• Experience in both individual and group therapy settings, capable of employing culturally responsive approaches.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed in high-stress situations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and navigating other digital applications for health records and client management.
\n
• A commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries in all client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in telehealth settings.

• Familiarity with treatment modalities specific to PTSD, trauma-informed care, and substance use disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
