Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Opportunity A well-established medical practice is currently seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work Weekends (Saturdays & Sundays) at a skilled nursing facility located in Queens, NY area. Open to New Graduates – Comprehensive Training Provided Position Overview: In this role, the advanced practice provider will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to residents in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate is proactive, compassionate, and eager to grow within a collaborative care model. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments including medical histories and physical exams Develop and implement care plans in alignment with patient needs and physician directives Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, immunizations, and medication administration Document encounters accurately in patient records Educate patients and families on treatment plans and wellness strategies Support continuity of care through coordination with facility staff and other healthcare professionals Maintain compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards Stay current with clinical knowledge through continued education and professional development What We’re Looking For: Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York Strong clinical judgement, communication, and organizational skills A team player with a commitment to providing patient-centered care Interest or experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care is a plus About the Practice: Our group specializes in delivering on-site medical care to post-acute and long-term care patients.
