Weekend Treatment Nurse, LVN - Part-Time 1st Shift

Full-Time Weekend Treatment NurseFreedom Village Healthcare Center has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Weekend Treatment Nurse to join our team!Requirements:Current license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse in California.Current CPR.Two plus years of experience as a Treatment Nurse.Clinical skills, bedside manner, infection control, nursing skills, physiological knowledge, administering medication, medical teamwork, multi-tasking, listening, verbal communication, health promotion and maintenance.Able to work 32-40 hours per week to include weekend coverage.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform wound care and treatments as ordered by physicians or nurse practitioners.Assess and document skin integrity and wound progression.Monitor residents for signs of infection, complications, or changes in condition.Maintain treatment records and ensure timely completion of physician orders.Participate in wound rounds and care planning meetings as assigned.Observe and report changes in resident physical, mental, and emotional conditions.Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed.Respond to resident and family concerns professionally and promptly.Ensure resident rights, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality are maintained.Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.Maintain treatment records, progress notes, incident reports, and physician communications.Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.Schedule:32-40 hours per week to include weekend coverage.Salary:$41.00 - $44.00 per hour DOEWe offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k (for full-time positions) and the opportunity to continue your education through our scholarship program!Offer of employment is contingent upon successful fingerprint clearance through Department of Justice, physical exam, TB and drug and alcohol screening.
