This role is essential for providing exceptional, patient-focused care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes for patients with orthopedic trauma, including those recovering from surgery and managing complex fractures. Administer medications and provide care for wounds and traction. Perform neurovascular assessments and manage pain effectively. Educate patients and their families about care processes and recovery. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Support evidence-based practices and participate in quality and safety initiatives. Engage in precepting and mentoring of new staff, fostering a culture of compassion and continuous improvement. Qualifications and Requirements Current Registered Nurse license. Experience in orthopedic trauma nursing is preferred. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
