?BayCare Health Systems staffing resource office is currently seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate float team.

· System Pool- 13-week full time assignment for assigned department - unit provided schedule - block scheduling not available. Availability of assignments is based on needs of health system.

Current assignments are available in regions 1 & 3.

Region 1 includes St Anthony's, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant Northbay hospitals.

Region 3 includes South Florida Baptist, Bartow Medical Center and Winter Haven Hospitals.

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

· The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.

· Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments

· Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

· The Registered Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Requirements:

· Registered Nurse license

· BLS and ACLS(AHA) are required.

· Associate degree in nursing (ASN)

· 18 months RN experience in an acute ICU setting is required.

· 2 years RN experience in an acute ICU setting is strongly preferred.

· Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred.

· Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts.

· Flexibility

· Travel Nurse experience preferred.
