Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist position in Morgan Hill, CA at an outpatient facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. This role requires delivering evaluations, individualized treatment plans, documentation, patient and family education, and participation in performance improvement and student training activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• No new graduates. Minimum clinical experience required in outpatient physical therapy.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and document care in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Experience with outpatient documentation systems, functional goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising or delegating to discipline-specific therapy staff and participating in student clinical education.
• Experience with performance improvement initiatives and competency-based practice.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
• Position requires working 40 hours per week.
• Candidate may be expected to follow clinic guidelines for attendance, appearance, and safety practices.
