Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical Floor Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) in an Iowa-based healthcare facility. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care for diverse surgical cases, including hip/knee replacements, mastectomies, and abdominal surgeries, with an emphasis on post-operative recovery and patient safety. Job Details Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) required. Education Requirements: Current Iowa or multi-state license, or compact license must be active at the time of submission. Experience: 24 months of current Medical Surgical (MS) experience in a hospital or medical center setting required. Post-operative surgical experience highly preferred. Location Requirements: Iowa license or compact preferred. Years of Experience: 24 years minimum required. Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week. Position Start Date: 11/09/2026, End Date: 02/08/2027. Additional Information: Candidate must have EPIC electronic medical record experience and PCA heparin experience. Must have a professional reference within the past 24 months and a valid driver's license. Staff will be required to work 1-2 of the upcoming Winter holidays. Candidates must have worked 24 months in Medical Surgical / Medical Surgical/Telemetry. Float rotation across multiple campuses may be required.
