About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 24 months of Labor and Delivery experience required. Travel experience within the last 15 months required. License: Active license required. Certifications: BLS NRP FHM STABLE ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: Experience in medication administration of glucose, magnesium, pitocin, and insulin. Intermediate or Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring certificate required. Description: The position involves providing care in a Labor and Delivery setting. The nurse will support antepartum, maternal, newborn, and NICU patient types. The nurse will handle drips and titrations, including glucose, magnesium, pitocin, and insulin. The nurse will work in a unit with a capacity for 16 maternity beds, 12 nursery beds, 4 NICU beds, and 1 C-section suite. The nurse will follow established protocols for patient care and will participate in delivery and postpartum processes. The nurse will rotate through weekends and be expected to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming Winter holidays. The nurse will collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Detailed experience in Labor and Delivery is essential for this role.
