As a Housekeeping team member, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment where your efforts directly contribute to guest satisfaction and hotel excellence.ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms to meet hotel standards.Handle various cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment such as vacuums, mops, and cleaning tools to ensure spotless results.Safely manage chemical agents and cleaning supplies in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols.Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting high-touch surfaces and public areas like lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms.Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or supplies while adhering to manual handling safety procedures.Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or cleaning services.ExperiencePrior janitorial or custodial experience in a hospitality or industrial cleaning setting is preferred.Familiarity with floor care techniques including chemical handling and floor cleaning processes.Experience operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or steam cleaners is advantageous.Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and sanitation standards is beneficial.Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and manual handling comfortably and safely.Strong understanding of safety procedures related to chemical agents and industrial cleaning supplies.Previous exposure to hotel emergency procedures enhances readiness for this role.Join us in delivering outstanding hospitality by maintaining pristine environments that delight our guests!
