Engineers are empowered to challenge the status quo, lead improvements, and see their ideas implemented on the floor.As part of a growing site with significant long term investment, you’ll work alongside driven teammates in an environment that supports learning, expanded responsibility, and long term career growth.What You Will DoSupport Quality Management Systems in the plant to profitably fulfill customer expectationsDrive achievement of quality assurance objectives in a continuous improvement environmentStrive for operational excellence in product, process quality, and reliabilityImplement quality tools across the organization (e.g., PFMEA, Control Plans, Gauge R&R, advanced problem solving, Six Sigma)Support and facilitate structured containment measuresApply problem solving methods such as 8D, DMAIC, and 5 Why to implement corrective actionsSupport proper implementation of ISO 9001 standard requirementsWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Experience working in quality, manufacturing, or process improvement environmentsExperience using quality tools such as PFMEA and Six SigmaExperience applying problem solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, 5 Why)Experience creating and interpreting data and reportsWhat Will Put You AheadExperience leading teams to effective solutions in a capability or support roleExperience using statistical analysisExperience with ISO 9001 requirements and implementationBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical fieldAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
