Metro Nashville Public Health (MPHD) is seeking an energetic and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Occupational Health and Wellness Clinic team. This clinic is responsible for conducting periodic or annual medical evaluations on current employees of the Metropolitan Nashville Government, as well as, post-offer evaluations for applicants. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Salary is based on proof of highest education per below:

Associate $79,332.00

Bachelor $81,642.00

Master $83,953.00

Typical Duties

• Assists with pre-employment and periodic examinations of employees of the Metropolitan Government.
• Works within a high-volume clinic operation which requires a high degree of flexibility for the delivery of quality patient services.
• Participates in professional development programs and self-development activities.
• Consults with colleagues and supervisory staff as needed, and collaborates with other disciplines in patient care and health promotion activities.
• May be assigned to different clinic/work locations as needed.
• Will draw blood for testing.
• Will administer vaccines.
• Will perform, do Electrocardiograms (ECG or EKG).
• Will perform do vision/hearing testing.
