Packaging Designer - Home & Pet Products

We are looking for a highly skilled and fast-moving Packaging Designer to join our team and lead packaging development across our home product categories. This role is hands-on and execution-focused — you will be responsible for creating packaging from concept through production while working directly with overseas factories to ensure accuracy, speed, and quality.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop packaging for:
o Boxes (retail + PDQ/display)
o Hang tags
o Belly bands
o Inserts and header cards
o Create dielines from scratch (no templates)
o Understand product dimensions, folding structures, and material constraints
o Ensure packaging is production-ready before factory sampling
o Work directly with overseas factories (primarily China)
o Communicate daily to resolve dieline and packaging issues
o Review factory files, mockups, and pre-production samples
o Ensure accuracy before samples are shipped to the U.S.
o Prepare print-ready files for mass production
o Color accuracy (CMYK/Pantone)
o Bleeds, trims, safety margins
o Material callouts and finishes (matte, gloss, foil, emboss, etc.)
o Manage multiple SKUs simultaneously with fast turnaround times
o Collaborate with internal teams on branding, product development, and timelines
