• Scrutinize results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Meticulously document all procedures, serve as a mentor to new staff or students, and uphold high laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Ensure continuous maintenance of current certifications throughout your tenure.
