As one of the premier golf clubs in the region, we are committed to maintaining exceptional playing conditions and providing a superior experience for our members and guests. The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure the overall maintenance and management of the golf course grounds.Responsibilities:Assist the Golf Course Superintendent in planning, scheduling and supervising the maintenance and improvement of all aspects of the golf course and its groundsParticipate in daily course setup and preparation, including mowing, irrigation, and pesticide/fertilizer applicationsImplement and enforce all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staffSupervise and train staff in proper techniques for turf maintenance, equipment operation, and safety proceduresQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Turfgrass Management, Horticulture or related fieldMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in golf course maintenanceStrong knowledge of agronomic practices, turfgrass science, and golf course maintenanceProficiency in the operation and maintenance of groundskeeping equipmentExperience with pesticide and fertilizer applicationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the demands of the golf seasonRewards and Perks:Competitive Wages – based on experienceOpportunities for advancementHealth, Dental and Vision insurance401(k) Retirement Savings Plan (must meet plan eligibility requirements) #J-18808-Ljbffr
